On Sunday, September 7, 2025, the 7th "Mukolauf Oberberg" took place in and around Heienbach under perfect weather conditions. This charity run for people with the metabolic disorder cystic fibrosis offers three beautiful running and walking routes that lead through the nature of the Oberberg region, featuring elevation differences of up to 310 meters. The proceeds from entry fees, sponsorship funds, and sales benefit the Mukoviszidose e.V. in Bonn, which supports affected patients and promotes research projects.
